Moving to North Carolina in her early teens and calling it home to this day, Brenda has not only acquired education and experience, but also developed strong values and work ethic by both raising her family and working as part of the corporate world in various capacities including being sole proprietor of a successful desktop publishing and graphic design business at one time.
With three grown children Chad, Allan and Nikole who are now building families of their own and have so far blessed her with two grandchildren Madison and Dalton, Brenda has enjoyed a successful career in Real Estate. Brenda enjoys movies and reading, working with young people and the senior community, believing that both are important to our future. She enthusiastically participates in western horse activities and is considering moving into the world of English Dressage to compliment the quality and characteristics of her young Friesian Sports horse “Hansom Hannas Houdini.” Being a handsome horse and defiantly a “gift from God” (meaning of Hannas), the young trickster lives up to his name well. Among many other outdoor adventures, cutting grass and watching it grow on her 9+ acres is one of her biggest pastimes. A person who is early to rise, and eager to work is ready for the fulfilling challenge of meeting the needs of others.

After finishing school, I accepted a position as a Civil Engineer for the New York State Department of Transportation in Upstate New York. One of my major responsibilities was to meet with the public and municipalities, hear about their concerns, and then facilitate community meetings to optimally meet their needs. I enjoyed the interaction with people and the role of facilitator.
After working for the NYS DOT for nearly 28 years I moved back down South to Cary, NC with my wife and 2 sons and currently reside in Holly Springs. I first became interested in real estate at a very young age as my mother was a real estate agent and then an investor. I have now earned my real estate license and am fulfilling my life-long ambition.
My family and I love the outdoors; we enjoy hiking and fishing at North Carolina’s State and County parks. I am active in the Boy Scouts with my sons and am into gardening. I am a member of the Bass Lake VIP (Volunteer in the Park) Program. We help to re-establish the lake’s environmental buffer zones and improve wild life habitats along with planting trees and other plants. I hold a diploma in Civil Engineering and Highway Technology.

This was a childhood dream fulfilled, and I couldn’t have been more proud putting on the blue uniform. While with the NYPD I spent time as part of a plain clothes narcotics team, and then later an illegal firearms apprehension unit. After leaving NYPD, I started working for the US Government under contract. This work revolved around national security and intelligence investigations. The work was interesting, with me even getting a chance to serve a month long tour of duty in Moscow Russia. While I loved the challenges that investigative law enforcement work brings, my real interest has always revolved around Real Estate. Besides being a Realtor, I currently own and operate my own Real Estate Investment Company that focuses on purchasing distressed properties in and around Wake County. My business has the added benefit of keeping me very grounded regarding local market trends, and allows me to stay one step ahead of my competitors. My knowledge as an investor gets translated directly to my real estate clients regarding their own needs.
Most of my off time is spent with family. I live right here in Holly Springs along with my wife Kerri, and three beautiful daughters Shannon, Megan, and Colleen. Kerri is a Registered Nurse who has spent time working with cancer patients on a busy oncology unit. Thankfully now she is gainfully employed by our family as a full time mom. My girls are heavily involved in the many area activities such as cheerleading, swim team, gymnastics, and drama class to name a few. When I get some time to myself, I do a lot of reading. I am very interested in the field of personal development, and have read over a hundred of books on the topic. On a lighter note, I am an avid hockey fan, with football and baseball a close second.
